STORM SUFFER SHARK BITE
Saturday May 10th saw a great celebration of Rugby League in South London when a crowd of over 500 saw 250 local junior players gather to compete as part of Stormn' Saturday. South London’s annual family festival. The senior games saw Storm come up against local rivals West London Sharks in both London League and Rugby League Conference Primer South action.
South London Rugby League are pleased to announce the launch of its new Rugby League Academy with the support of The Jack Petchey Foundation.
The initial three-year plan will see Storm working with a number of local 6th forms and colleges including St Josephs Upper Norwood, Carshalton Boys Sports College and Croydon College

Merton Based St Marks school are the winners of the 2008 South London year 9 schools league after a 20-8 win over Dunraven in the grand final held at a wet and windy Storm Park.
South London Storm are on the look out for volunteer coaches to join the clubs growng junior sections.
Wth teams in Croydon, Wandsworth and Lambeth covering children from 6 to 18 there's plenty of scope to work within a number of groups. Experience isn't necessary as support will be given to obtain UkCC coaching qualifcations
