South London Storm are delighted to announce Paul Brown as their head Coach for the 2011 Season. Former Quins RL CEO and former Storm Chairman, Paul Brown commented “I've been away from the Storm for a couple of years, and I'm really looking forward to being involved again with the club, and particularly with the players”
“It’s a year to get really excited about for the Storm - there's a really strong committee set up off the field, a new state-of-the-art pitch and I like the plans the RFL have got for the London competitions.”
“We're lucky to play with a great group of clubs in the South, and I'm looking forward to getting started with Julian and the players in March."
Croydon based Storm’s Chairman, Richard Giles, commented “We had a couple of exceptional applicants and committee’s decision was not an easy one to make, which is a great position to be in for a club ours”. “I am delighted with Paul’s appointment, we have known each other for a number of years, and I am sure he will be a fantastic coach for the Storm.” Pre-season training starts at 7pm at Tuesday 1st March at Archbishop Lanfranc School.
